This project involves the removal and replacement of a 27-square roofing system. A primary technical objective is correcting a major structural installation error where the roof faces were previously layered incorrectly. The crew must ensure the larger roof face properly overlaps and sheds water away from connecting planes, rather than running underneath them.

The scope also includes the comprehensive Remove and Replace (R&R) of specialized components:

• Skylights: Replacement of three (3) skylight units.
• Chimney/Ventilation: Installation of a new 8-inch rain cap and new ridge vents on all ridges.
• Water Diversion: Installation of two (2) new kick-out diverters and updated flashing to ensure proper drainage.
• Secondary Barrier: Application of ice and water shields around all valleys, chimneys, and penetrations.

Site & Safety Protocols:

• Sunroom & Garden Protection: The back elevation features extensive sunroom windows and a backyard garden that require full shielding throughout the day.
• Pet-Safe Cleanup: Because the homeowner has a dog, a triple-pass magnetic nail sweep is mandatory across all landscaping, driveways, and sidewalks.
• Logistics: A Dump Trailer is required. Crews must wear plain shirts, use ladder stabilizers, and are strictly prohibited from parking on the grass.
• Final Detailing: Post-installation includes blowing out gutters, cleaning tar/scuff marks from the house, and clearing all window seals, decks, and walkways.
• Inventory: Please leave three squares of shingles on the pallet for the customer.
